NATIONAL PARK OF THE GRAN PARADISE
PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP NATURALISTICS
Accompanied by two professional photographers, you will be able to improve your photographic techniques and experiment with new compositions to take your photography to the next level.
The Workshop includes two days immersed in the spectacular winter setting of the Gran Paradiso Park, in search of specimens of fauna such as the Ibex and the Chamois, symbol of the Park, alternating along the paths with landscape photography sessions thanks to the stupendous views that can be enjoyed. along the paths. We will photograph during the warm sunset lights and on Sunday morning we will do a landscape photography session at dawn and on this occasion we will also photograph animals such as the ibex, under the suggestive morning light. At the end of the first day, we will have an editing and post production lesson.
For wildlife photography in the Park, a fixed or zoom lens with a focal length of at least 300mm is recommended. For landscape photography we recommend a wide angle and a lens with a longer focal length, such as a 70-200mm. Tripod, if not too heavy, will surely be an excellent aid for photography in the darkest hours of the day. Given the low temperatures, even below freezing, it is advisable to have a second battery for the camera, since in the cold the batteries tend to reduce their duration.
We recommend a technical winter clothing for the mountains, with the classic layered clothing solution, essential waterproof mountain boots, gaiters and sunglasses. Snowshoes or crampons are strongly recommended.

My name is Elia Dallari and I am a biologist and portrait photographer of animals.
From an early age I showed a strong passion for nature, but above all for animals.
The passion for photography was progressive and natural, as my father was a photo and video amateur for a long time. During my adolescence, I was lucky enough to travel, together with my family, all over North Africa, together with my father's analogue camera and video camera, starting to understand and experiment with various photographic techniques. Over the years we have produced more than 350 hours of video and more than half a million photos. In 2010 my first digital reflex and the encounter with nature was spontaneous. Survival courses, climbing, diving courses and many hours in the mountains have given me a great experience. In 2016 I graduated in Biology, acquiring greater skills in the scientific field. In the recent years I have developed a photographic technique which consists in transforming what I observe into art. In fact, the observation of nature through the lens is a unique experience, shooting is art.
